Sunday we got up and went to church in Springfield, MO and then headed to Nauvoo. We got into Nauvoo about 3:30. Grammy and Papa were working at the print shop and John Taylor’s home so we stopped and took the tour there and then went to the John Browning home and gunshop.
Sunday evening they had little performances down the trail of hope so we went and listened to that and walked down to the Mississippi River. Then we stopped by the temple and the cemetery where Joseph, Emma, Hyrum, Joseph Sr, Lucy and others were buried. The cemetery is so peaceful and is one of my favorite places in Nauvoo.
