All I Want for Christmas is my 2 Front Teeth

Emmy lost her first tooth on Saturday. She was so excited. The before.

And after.

When I asked her what she thought the tooth fairy would bring her, she said that on Super Why the tooth fairy brought him a toothbrush. The tooth fairy brought her this cute receipt, a new Barbie toothbrush, a two dollar bill and 2 Sacajawea dollars. She was really excited.

Pioneer Children Sang as they Walked....

Saturday our ward had a temple walk. We started at our building and walked to the new Gilbert temple site which is a little over 5 1/2 miles. I asked Emmy if she wanted to walk with me and she said yes. I took my phone and I honestly thought that I would have to call Jamie to come and get her part way through. This is us right before we started.

This was my view off and on for the first couple of miles. She would run ahead of me until she got tired and then slow down and I would catch up.

We made it!!! This is Emmy and Sister Packard, her old primary teacher. She loves her.

It was so much fun to get to walk with Emmy. She was amazing!!! The last mile or so, she was pretty worn out, but she did so good. We made it in a little under 2 hours. Not bad for a 5 year old and a 19 week pregnant lady:) I asked her the next morning why it was important that we walked to the temple and she said, "because it is a special place." I love that girl so much.

Halloween

We had a fun night. It was the first year that the kids got really into trick-or-treating. In the past it has always been us leading them, and this year they were just running ahead wanting to go to every house so that was fun. Jamie got home early and helped us carve our pumpkins..

Then we had a little neighborhood get together. Every year our cul-de-sac gets together and someone orders pizza and we all bring potluck and then whoever isn't going trick-or-treating sits together to hand out candy and the rest of us take our kids. So we did dinner and then came home and got our costumes on and headed out. Emmy was Ariel.

TJ was a stripling warrior.

Addy had been Snow White and Tinkerbell and then ended up like this. She doesn't really care what she dresses up like, as long as the dress spins good.

And here's a picture of Evie from last weekend as Annie. I didn't get a good picture of her on Halloween.

I did get this picture of her and I am going to post it even though it isn't great because I want to remember this expression. She makes this face A LOT and I love it.

While we were trick-or-treating Emmy found these pumpkins shaped like Darth Vader and Yoda and she thought they were really cool.

And then she wanted me to take their picture in front of this pumpkin. I think just because we had done it last year. It was a fun night and it was a lot of fun to see them get excited about Halloween.

Emmy's Halloween Party

Emmy's class invited all the parents/siblings to their Halloween party. I couldn't decide if I wanted to go or not, just because it meant taking 3 other kids under the age of 5, but when I asked her, she really wanted us to go. So we went. They got to decorate little pumpkins,

and decorate sugar cookies and drink these little mummy juice boxes. She thought these were so cool.

They even had extra cookies for the siblings to decorate which was so nice.

And this is a picture of her class. The two girls just to her right are Bella and Ava. Those are probably her two best friends in the class. And the boy in the center front in the blue shirt is Tyson. She told me that other day that she was going to marry him because "he made her laugh."
