Violin Recital

The girls had their violin recital on the 30th of April. They both did a great job.

It's All Fun and Games

My parents were in town at the end of April and my dad was rough housing with the kids. Rook somehow found a knife sharpener and threw it at my dad and split his chin open. So my dad ended up at urgent care. Gratefully the line at the urgent care was short and they are still friends. I can't believe that I didn't get a picture of them together while my parents were here but I had Tommy take one of his chin and send it to me.

Pat's Run

This girl has gotten up between 5:30 and 6:00, 3 days a week for the last 2 months to train for this race. She ran 4.2 miles in under 42 minutes. She is 9. I didn't run that far until I was 35. She is amazing!!! Wacey and Jenny ran it with us and all the kids ran the kids run afterwards.

Budding Artist

Addy was 1 of only 2 kids out of her class to have her art displayed at a local business. They had each of the kids come down for an hour long open house. Addy was so excited to be chosen. Her art work was amazing!!!

The Judds

The Judds invited us over to their house. They had some baby bunnies and chicks they thought the kids would get a kick out of. The kids loved them!!!

This was by far Emmy's favorite bunny. She named it spots and would have taken it home in a heartbeat if we would have let her.

 

 

They also had a tree swing tied to a huge tree that Rook and Evie could not get enough of.

 

It's always interesting to me that the church brings you into contact with people that you would never otherwise meet. The Judd's have been really good to us and we love them.

TJ

We went and took some pictures of TJ to put on his baptism announcement. Here are a few of my favorites.

 

I can't believe this handsome boy is old enough to be baptized. TJ has a deep desire to learn about the gospel. He will often ask me questions that make me think. His prayers are sincere, humble, and beyond his years. I can't wait to watch him grow and serve in the church.
