Wyatt wanted to hike Humphrey's Peak on Memorial Day. Emmy decided she wanted to go with us. So we got up early and drove to Flagstaff. The first part of the hike was a little chilly but otherwise was beautiful. But once we got above the tree line it was really windy and pretty miserable. I ended up falling and scraping my hands pretty good right after the saddle and then I got really queasy. I ended up heading back to the saddle while Emmy and Wyatt finished. They acted like it was pretty miserable but I was super proud of them both for finishing it — it’s the highest mountain in Arizona.

14!
TJ wanted to start his birthday at the temple. So he made the appointment and invited his friends to come with him. So we opened presents and then went to the temple, had donuts in the parking lot and headed straight to school. TJ wanted to go to Sal's Gilbert Pizza so we went there for dinner. At 14 TJ loves the guitar, baseball, hanging out with his friends, playing on his switch, and watching guitar youtube videos. He is a good student and is a pretty laid back kid most of the time.
I love this picture of TJ. He hates pictures and so it's hard to get him with a genuine smile on his face.

Ponies, Hair and missionaries
We went to Taylor for my parents being set apart as missionaries. While we were there Rook and Evie got to ride the pony which was all fun and games until the pony was running for the fence and suddenly stopped and Rook kept flying right into the fence. Addy also got her hair frosted.
Mom and dad setting apart was so good. The stake president blessed them both with exactly what I thought they needed. He blessed my dad with the health to do what he needed to do and my mom that she would make friends while she was there. I will miss them but I am so excited for this opportunity for them.
