Seven

Having a birthday in the middle of the quarantine isn't very fun but we made the most of it. We started the day opening presents.  He really wanted a Scooby-doo cake so I did my best to make him a Mystery Machine. We ordered pizza and enjoyed a night at home.

Snow

 One of the fun things about going to Taylor is stopping and playing in the snow.

Vernon Waterfall

While we were in Taylor, we drove to Vernon to see the waterfall with Grammy and Papa and Shawn and Tommy's family. The kids had lots of fun.

Mickey Gilley and Johnny Lee

We got to celebrate Wacey’s birthday early by going to see Johnny Lee and Mickey Gilley. Johnny Lee is 73 and has Parkinson’s and Mickey Gilley is 84 and has survived 2 plane crashes, a car accident and a spinal cord injury that left his hands partially paralyzed. And they were both absolutely amazing!!

A Mountain

We took the chance with spring break and a cloudy cool day to tackle A mountain. It's a quick hike but we enjoyed it. Jamie was at work and Emmy stayed home. We missed them both.

We are the Champions

Last Saturday was the tournament for our volleyball league. I coached Evie's team and we hadn't won a game all season. We had won a set here and there but had never won an entire game. We were supposed to play our first game and then if we won we played for championship. I honestly didn't know if we would make it past the first game. But my girls played great. I was so proud of them. They came together and played as a team and played better than I've ever seen them play. We ended up winning the championship. They were so excited and it was so fun to be a part of it.

TJ and Addy's team also won the championship. So it was a good day in the Esperson house.
