Rest of DC

Sunday we started off at church. Fom there we went to the air and space museum that is not on the mall but next to the Dulles airport. There were so many cool planes there. We saw the first federal express airplane, the place that dropped the atom bomb on Hiroshima, the blackbird, the space shuttle discovery -- which was absolutely HUGE -- and the concord. They also had Amelia Earharts flight suit. After that we went to the place that Emmy had been looking forward to the whole trip -- the pretzel bakery. She had read about it in one of our travel books and really wanted to go so we checked it out. The food was pretty good and Emmy loved it. After that we braved the cold to check out the Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials. It was SO cold, but we jumped on the circular when we were done and managed to survive.
