Mogollon Mining Ghost Town

While we were at the reunion we drove over to New Mexico to check out Mogollon, an old mining town. We went down into one of the old mine shafts and then went into town. We stopped and talked to a couple of the owners. They had such interesting stories. One was an electrician engineer from Silicon Valley that had left the bar area in 79. The other was a woodworker from Denmark who had come to the US when he was 25. The road in and out of there is pretty sketchy. It’s 9 miles up the side of a mountain with no guard rails but it was pretty cool.

Seminary Graduation

TJ graduated from seminary last night. I loved the talk Brother Wright gave as he passionately told them not to leave and encouraged them to gain a vision and come to know their Savior through prayer, scripture study and temple worship.
