Christmas, FINALLY

Last year for Christmas (not just a month ago, but the year before that) we got Emmy and T.J. both bikes. T.J. is finally almost to get big enough to ride his. We took it out for the first time today. He did pretty good for his first time.

My parents came down last weekend for a party my mom's brothers and sisters were having and we let them take Emmy home with them. So Monday I went and got her and we stayed for a couple of days. While we were up there we had a craft day and made cute Valentine's blocks.

Emmy made a new friend. This is Ryder giving her a love. She was just sitting in the rocking chair and he climbed up on her lap.

One morning we got up and went to go somewhere and there was ice all over my windshield and T.J. asked me, "Who sprayed our car?"

Randomness

Things have been pretty dull around our house lately. But here's what we've been up to. We finally got some vegetables out of our garden. Our cucumbers were beautiful but some kind of bug got them and then the frost got our squash, but we picked our first lettuce and carrots the other day and they were good.

Addy's hair finally got long enough to put in 2 ponytails. It made her look so much older to me. She is growing up way too fast!!!

She is starting to play a lot more with the other kids, which is really fun to see. She also learned to say "cheese."

Emmy helped me make sugar cookies the other day and we had fun with that.

T.J. has been growing up and saying things that make me laugh. We were waiting for Emmy to get out of her ballet class the other day and there was a vending machine there and he said, "Mom, put your money in there and see what happens."

Let it Snow!

Saturday we took the kids up to Jamie's parents cabin so they could play in the snow. The weather was beautiful and the kids had a lot of fun. T.J. especially loved it.

Shoooo-Weeeee!!!

Whenever Addy has a poopy diaper, Jamie asks her if she has shooo-weees. So she has gotten to where if she is poopy she will say shooo-weees and go and get a diaper. Well the other day, her and Emmy decided that her teddy bear and Emmy's wocket had shooo-weees and they were going to take care of the problem.

Happy Birthday Emmy!!!

Emmy turned 4 today. We had a pretty low key day. She started the day with Mickey Mouse pancakes.

Then got to open a couple of presents. She got bunkbeds for Emmy-lou-who and Lou-who and a cabinet to hold all her new doll clothes.

Then helped me make her cake.

Then we went to the park for a picnic lunch.

Then we came back to finish her Ariel cake.

And ended the day at Joe's barbecue to celebrate with the Espersons.

Happy Birthday Emmy! We love you and are so grateful that you are part of our family.

Chuck E. Cheese

Emmy decided that she wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese for her birthday. Tuesday my parents came down to see her for her birthday so we drug them along with us. The kids absolutely loved it!!

Happy New Year!!

Thursday night about 8:30 Emmy and Addy both started throwing up. They were both up most of the night and then about 5:30 Friday morning, on New Years Eve, I started throwing up. Jamie was a trooper. He stayed up with the girls Thursday night when I wasn't feeling well and babied us all on Friday. Thanks hun!!! But needless to say, none of us made it to midnight on New Years Eve. The little new year baby still managed to leave something in our shoes for us as he brought in the new year.
