Rook's 5

Rook still LOVES cars so we made him a Finn McMissile cake. I thought it turned out so cute. Rook is such a cute kid and we are so blessed to have him in our family!

Taylor

It was a quick trip to Taylor but we had lots of fun including riding horses and roasting marshmellows in the canyon. I was once again reminded of how going home resets my compass and makes me feel like I can deal with life. I love that my kids can have some of the same experiences I had growing up.

 

 

Roosevelt

After we went to Tonto National Park, we stopped at Roosevelt Lake, had a picnic and played in the water for a few minutes before heading to Taylor.

Tonto National Monument

We started spring break with a trip to Tonto National Park. Grammy and Papa met us there. We hiked up to the ruins that they estimate are about 700 years old. The kids participated in the junior ranger program and took it pretty seriously. The view was gorgeous, the weather was perfect and we had a fun time.

Volleyball

Emmy had her volleyball tournament Saturday. They played pretty well but ended up losing a nail biter in the championship game. She has improved so much and is fun to watch play.

Growing up...

We went and got Emmy's pictures taken last week. She is growing into a beautiful young woman.
