Take Your Child to Work Day

Take your child to work day was June 23rd. The kids look forward to this every year and had a great day with Jamie. Here they are ready to go.

Once in awhile you take a picture that truly captures a person. That's how I feel about this picture and Evie. She is adorable inside and out.

Sherwood Forest

Wacey and Jenny were in charge of our family reunion. They held it at Sherwood Forest from June 16th through the 19th. We all had a lot of fun. Wacey and Jenny had done so much work. They had a family Olympics, so we had lots of races and games. We had a volleyball and horseshoe tournament, and a 2 mile run. We watched a movie on a projector, played jeopardy and the newlywed game, went to Alpine for ice cream, rode 4-wheeler rides and had a talent show. We saw lots of elk, a bear and 2 javelinas. It was pretty hot, especially for up there. But it was a really fun weekend.

There was also a patriotic program. Wacey had asked TJ to memorize "Ragged Old Flag." It is pretty long and TJ was nervous but he did a great job.

For the talent show we taped glow necklaces and bracelets on the kids and they did a dance. It turned out really cute and the kids won the talent show.

Emmy won the 2 mile race.

It was a fun few days with lots of cousins.

Fathers Day

Our Father's Day was a little crazy this year. We started the day in Sherwood Forest, finishing up my family reunion. We ate breakfast and had a little church up there and then packed up and headed home. By the time we got home, it was 3 or 3:30. So we showered and let Jamie open his presents and then headed over to Nana and Poppy's to have dinner and celebrate Father's Day with them.
Every year Jamie and TJ have their picture taken by the same stump at Father's and Sons. So I made Jamie a photo strip of all their pictures. He also got a fitbit, some movies, and a little set of scriptures for the trek.

I love this man that I married. He is an incredible father, and excellent provider and a wonderful husband. The older I get the more I realize how truly lucky I am to be married to him. We love you hun!
