T.J. has a Buzz Lightyear costume that Jamie's nephews gave him when they outgrew it and he loves to wear it. Tonight I was trying to help him put the gloves on that go with it I was having a hard time. I said, "Bud you have to pay attention. I had half your fingers in and you pulled them back out." He said, "I don't know how to pay attention."
Jamie has been working a lot of hours. He had to work last Saturday, Monday he got home at 7, Tuesday he got home about 5:45 but then had to go to mutual and the last 2 nights he hasn't gotten home until 9 after leaving for work at 6 and he's probably going to have to work this weekend. We are all missing him. The kids are going stir crazy. It is too hot to be outside and I just don't want to haul the 3 of them anywhere in 114 degree weather. But as we keep telling ourselves, it is better than the alternative. It makes me realize how much I appreciate him just being around and how much he helps lift the weight off my shoulders. I will be glad when they get this project delivered.

Artist in the Making
Emmy is pretty obsessed with the new baby. She always wants to know if she is kicking and she tells me pretty much everyday, "Your tummy is getting bigger." Well this is the picture she drew in church today. She told me that this was me and the baby in my tummy.
7 Years
Me and Jamie celebrated our 7 year anniversary on Wednesday. We were hoping to get away somewhere for a couple of days without the kids, but Jamie couldn't get off work so maybe in a month or so. But we still got a babysitter and went out for the evening. We went and ate dinner at Matta's and then we did a little bit of shopping and he bought me some new perfume, and then we went back to the place where he asked me to marry him. It was just a fun, relaxing evening. I wonder sometimes if everyone loves and respects the person they are married to as much as I do Jamie. I'm sure there are a lot of people who do and a lot of people who don't. But I know that I am truly grateful to be married to him. He is by far the greatest blessing that I have had or will ever have in my life.
