AZMBA Championships

Emmy finished her marching band season with their championships. They did awesome!!!! They won first place! Their program was amazing and they deserved all the recognition they received.

Volleyball Banquet

Addy's volleyball banquet was on Evie's birthday.

She's a teenager!!!

 Evie wanted to open her presents by the Christmas tree since it was already set up.

Nightmare before Christmas

Emmy wanted to go see the Nightmare before Christmas with the music performed live by the Phoenix Symphony. So I took her. The music was incredible and it was fun to get to hang out with her.

Putting up the Tree

Addy decided that the day after Halloween was the appropriate time to put up the Christmas tree. We had 2 trees for the first time this year, our new 9 footer in the living room and our old 7.5 footer in the family room.

Cannon Beach and the Wreck of Peter Iredale

Sunday we drive up the coast. We stopped at the Tillamook Creamery which was interesting, a maritime museum and several beaches including Cannon Beach and The Wreck of Peter Iredale. It is so gorgeous to see the huge pine trees right up against the ocean with these huge rock formations in the water.

Silver Falls State Park

Saturday we got up and drove to Silver Falls State Park. There is a trail there called 10 falls trail. We hiked part of the trail and saw several of the waterfalls. My favorites were the ones you could hike behind. The north falls was absolutely gorgeous with its hike behind.

Columbia River Gorge

We flew into Portland about 10. We got some food and then headed to Columbia River Gorge. We stopped at the Vista House to check out the incredible views and then headed for the falls. We stopped at Loterelli Falls before getting our ebikes. We rode and hiked to Wahtanee, Mohtanomah, horsetail and behind ponytail falls and finished with Bridal Veil Falls. It was a fun day hanging out with Jamie.
