Halloween

We had a fun Halloween season. Each of the kids got to decorate their own pumpkins and had fun with that except for Evie who gets grossed out by having to clean out all the seeds.

I didn't get a picture of Emmy carving hers but she is excited to see the sequel to Top Gun coming out next year.

Settler's Point had a school carnival and I took Evie and Rook. They had so much fun.

Rook and Evie were the only two that dressed up for school. Evie was Jessi and Rook was karate kid. He drew his own headband and everything.

We debated whether to let them going trick or treating since Halloween was on Sunday but finally decided we would let them go. Emmy and TJ decided they were too old to go, but Addy got dressed up as a hippie and went with one of her friends who lives in our neighborhood and we took Rook and Evie. He decided to be a baseball player on Halloween night.

Flag Football

Football at the junior high level is a no-cut sport but before playoffs they pick their allstar team to play for championship. TJ made the allstar team. He had a great season and they ended up winning the championship. He just keeps getting better. 

Addy's Volleyball Season

Addy had a good volleyball season. They ran a 6-2 and she was one of the setters. So she got to set on the back row and hit on the front row. I can't believe how much she grew over the course of the season. Their season ended in a heartbreaker to Greenfield. Throughout the course of the season, Greenfield had beat them twice pretty handily. Greenfield one the first game. We came back and won the second game and were tied at 14 with the serve. Our server foot faulted which put them up by one and then they won the next point to win the match. So it was a tough loss but they played so good and improved so much over the course of the season.
