New Haircut

While we were in Taylor, Addy got a new haircut. Jamie has been saying that he thought she would look cute with a bob and so we gave it a shot. It turned out really cute. I can't believe how much older it made her look.

24th Celebration

We went to Taylor for the 24th. We went to part of the rodeo Friday night, went to the parade, Jamie put his car in the carshow, watched the fireworks, and enjoyed the cooler weather.

Fun Weekend

We had a busy, fun weekend. Saturday morning was snow day at the zoo so I took the kids and they got to play in the snow and then in the water for a little while.

 Addy thought this was a great way to get a drink.

Then Saturday night one of Jamie's cousins rented a pool as a going away party for her son that is going on a mission. The kids had a great time.

Late Church

The wards in our stake change times in August to coincide with the beginning of school. I am definitely looking forward to our new time, even though it is 8 am. Late church is hard on us all. This was last Sunday after church when we were trying to get them a snack before their naps.

Addy's 2!!!

Addy turned two yesterday. My parents were on their way back from California so they stopped and saw her and then we went to Organ Stop with the Espersons and enjoyed pizza and monkey cake. Addy is one of the happiest kids I have ever met. She LOVES life. She just finds something amusing about it. You can't hardly look at her without smiling. She brings so much joy to our family and to me personally. I am so glad she is a part of my life and will be eternally grateful for the chance to be her mom. Here is her day in review. Waking up.

We got her an 18" doll. I wasn't sure if she would be that into it or not but she loved it.

Kids Pictures

I got the kids' pictures taken a couple of weeks ago. I bribed them with a trip to the dollar store afterwards if they were good, and they were awesome. I thought we got some cute pictures.

Goodbye 1st Trimester

I don't get sick when I get pregnant which I am really grateful for, but it seems like this pregnancy I was so much more tired than with the others and that it lasted a lot longer. I don't know if I really was or if it was just having to deal with the other 3 kids or a combination of both. But I have been feeling so much better lately and have taken advantage of my new found energy by getting some crafting done.

I made this for Wyatt and Dawn's new baby boy.

This is Evie's blessing dress. I think it needs something else around the waist, but I haven't decided what yet.

Swim Lessons

We had kind of a rough go of swim lessons. T.J. and Emmy were in the same class so I thought it wouldn't be bad. The first day they were both a little scared but they just held hands and walked up there and did so good. But the teacher made Emmy go under water and she didn't like it. So the next day she told us she wasn't going. So we had a rough few days of trying to get her to go until I finally told her she could go the last 2 days or I would just throw her in the deep end. (Yes, I am the meanest mom in the whole world.) So she went the last two days and did pretty good. Their instructor, Wes, let T.J. wear his hat one day and he thought that was pretty cool.
